MDC and Panasonic Explore the Significance of Aid, Advocacy and Advertising

MDC assembles powerhouse panel to discuss the power of advertising as it relates to raising social awareness

MDC produced and moderated a panel event sponsored by Panasonic during Advertising Week.

MDC invited special guest speakers Bill Wasserman (Save Darfur Coalition), John Prendergast (International Crisis Group and Enough Project), Tim Irwin (United Nations High Commissions for Refugees), Steve Ruhl (Amnesty International), Robin Raj (Citizen Agency), Dave Mitchell (GMMB Agency) and Mira Sorvino to appear on the panel which was moderated by MDC’s founder, Meagan Celeste.

The event highlighted the responsibility of various sponsors of the Olympic Games to recognize their inadvertent role in supporting genocide in the Sudan. The International Crisis Group highlighted the status of the humanitarian crisis in the region, while Save Darfur and GMMB presented strategy and creative behind their most recent domestic and international advertising campaigns.
